Would you like to join a fast paced, fun environment, where coaching lacrosse is part of your day-to-day job? We’re looking for new members to take on the role as True Lacrosse sales representatives.


About: True Lacrosse is committed to the expansion and progression of lacrosse. Our combined knowledge, experience, and passion allow us to offer the best service, products, and guidance necessary to further develop the fastest game on two feet. Our mission is to spread the game of lacrosse throughout the entire Midwest and onto areas of the country where lacrosse has not been fully embraced. We understand that lacrosse is a lifestyle not a hobby and we value the dedication required to excel in this sport.

Duties: Looking for a person to serve as a sales representative in a
market for True Lacrosse. This person would need to have experience in
sales, coaching and playing lacrosse. General duties include: organization of
camps, clinics, tournaments, leagues and travel teams. In addition to
setting up events they would need to market and be the face of the region.
This person would undergo business training, market strategy plan and
support from company headquarters in IL.

Salary: Compensation range dependent on experience.

Sports Administration Internship

True Lacrosse, a Chicago-based company focused on spreading the game of lacrosse through the Midwest, offers a sports administration internship for undergraduates or graduates currently enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university. The intern will gain valuable hands-on experience working in the highly competitive sports and recreation industry. In addition, the intern will get a first-hand look at the operation of a small business and will play an instrumental part in True Lacrosse’s communications, organization and scheduling, public relations, marketing, and management. The individual also would be expected to assist with the smooth running of camps and clinics, leagues and travel teams.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university as a undergrad or graduate student
  • Sports Administration, Recreation Management or related major preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel)
  • Basic knowledge of website functionality
  • Experience working with various social media entities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a drive to be the best
  • Ability to complete work on deadline in a quick and precise manner
  • Knowledge of the sports industry (lacrosse knowledge and/or playing experience is a plus)

This is an unpaid internship lasting the duration of the term, and the intern would be expected to work some nights and weekends. Hours during the day are flexible. Please send a resume and cover letter to
